Optimistic Realist

Someone who is able to look at the positive side of life while maintaining a realistic viewpoint. Although seemingly contradictory (or even possibly as an oxymoron), it clearly is not due to the fact that realism has no positive or negative association, only a focus on the realistic elements of a situation.
Craig is an optimistic realist because while he understands that in reality, negative things can happen, that there is an equal chance that positive things will happen.
Realists have a firm grip on reality and can see things for what they are, not what they are told they are. Realists have their own views and do not fall victim to propaganda, misconception, or titles!
1. There is the Pessimist who believes the glass is half empty!

2. There is the Optimist who believes the glass is half full!

3. Then there is the Realist who knows it is just half a fucking glass!

tech resistant

Someone who does not embrace technology or has a hard time working with technological devices including computers, gaming consoles, email, cell phones, DVRs, remote controls, traffic lights...

stretchingly realistic

Thos action movie scenes that are in no way possible (it's a stretch) but the action hero manages to pull it off.
For example: Bond movies, Bourne movies, Twilight Series, etc.
Michael - "I saw Salt."
Ann Marie "How was it?"
Michael - "It was good, lots of action, a few parts were 'stretchingly realistic' but good story though."

hyper-realistic

A term used by lazy and/or shitty writers (usually creepypasta writers) when they want to describe a piece of artwork that looks good enough to almost pass as a photo, but they also don't feel like writing out a meaningful description of said artwork.

Using this phrase more often than not puts a story into crappypasta territory.
The sky had darkened, the title emblem was rusted and ruined, the SEGA 1991 was now instead SEGA 666, and the water had turned red, like blood, except it looked hyper-realistic.
