Råtta

"Att råtta" is a verb used to explain that someone is stealing something eatable and eating it in small portions. The word is in Swedish and directly translates to "To rat". It comes from a rat often stealing food and gnawing on it in small portions. You can also change the perspective of the verb:

"Att råtta" - "To rat"
"Har råttat" - "Have ratted"
"Ska råtta" - "Will rat"
