faux-portunity

It's presented kinda like an opportunity, but there's always a catch, which is usually a demand for something you're not really comfortable doing, which would usually require great effort and commitment on your part, and would really only serve to make the other person look good (and probably momentarily at that). Oh, and you can't get the opportunity part unless you agree to the catch, so it's basically a hustle. Usually a faux-portunity is followed by a hyped-up promise that can never be delivered. In other words, it's a complete waste of your time.
I thought he was offering me the real deal, but it was just a faux-portunity.

Punitunity

A punitunity is a portmanteau of pun and opportunity. It means an opportunity to make a pun.
You missed a punitunity there, you must be having a slow day.

ska-pportunity

a phrase invented by a man living in Whittier California that refers to opportunity seen by an individual to change a song into a ska cover.
As I listen to this song, I envision a ska-pportunity.

Poportunity

1. Blanket word describing the downfall of modern music.
2. Opportunities that are given to artists not necessarily gifted nor talented. Eg: Pop rock, Emo, Hip Hop, Boy bands.
American Idol is giving poportunity to so called 'artists' who would normally be relegated to coffee shops.
