Proponents of panty salmon over panty oyster claim their term is more closely aligned with the female sexual cycle (Women are like salmon, sexually, in that they swim up a stream of sexual consciousness until they reach their peak at around 40 ergo, panty salmon) It should be noted that panty salmon is considered an anachronism and is only permissible in a scholarly context. Some philologists and semiotics expets believe poister is best spoken with a British accent, debate continues.
