plancel

To make plans with the intention of canceling or never following through. Often used if the planceling party is not quick enough to come up with an excuse. Sometimes both parties plancel, and no meeting is intended, the future event is just a social gesture.

(I made this word up, but you should use it.)

The specific plancel:

A: What are you doing on Thursday?
B: (Thinking: I can't come up with anything!) I don't know.
A: Let's go see a movie
B: That would be great. (I'm trapped. I hope he doesn't call, but I'll tell him a family member is ailing if he presses it.)

The two-way, generic plancel:

A: It was so good to see you.
B: You too. Let's do dinner sometime. (We're never doing dinner).
A: Definitely. (We're never doing dinner.)

Canceling plans at the last minute because you went home and made the mistake of taking your pants off, incapacitating the ability to be convinced it's worth going back out

Looks like I'm panceling on going out tonight. Let's try for next week!

Planeclapper 

An individual so exuberated from social hierarchy that they willingly and excitedly offer applause upon the landing of an airplane flight.

It was when I found myself engulfed in surrounding applause as the wheels touched ground that I suddenly realized I was on a flight full of planeclappers.

Plance 

The Voltron legendary ship between pidge and lance

Pidge has Tsnundre crush (looking jealous when he talks about other girls, punching him when he talks about other girls, calling him cute but throwing in insults so he won’t notice anything) on lance and lance is destined to fall in love with someone who he needs and is confident. They also protect each other all the time.

Lauren: “lance needs someone who is self assured and knows herself”

Plancers: I love plance it’s so pure and has so many hints!

Angie: pidge can zap me and I’d thank her, lance stay away she’s mine.

Shannon: hey guys I ship klance

Lisa: Ok. I don’t ship that I ship plance

to play around while dancing, not exactly showing one's true dancing skills. Usually to music that has well defined beats. Play + Dance = Plance.
