Short for “Pi fanatic.” A math geek who is aroused at the sight and sound of the irrational number π, and who also claims to be able to smell it as well.

Piratician 

The original etymological root word for the modernized term = Politician.

The profession and practice of willingly engaging in relationships, behaviors, affairs and deceitful tactics for the purpose of self promotion/gain/sexual gratification through profiteering, theft, criminal enterprising and the cloaked instantiation of illicit/fraudulent activities without regard for harm, impairment and/or disability inflicted upon others.

{Background and Context}
Upon return from a research expedition in the aboriginal territory of Korkycow Australia, Dr. Chris Culvitude of Copenhagen delivered a lexicon postulate based on revelations from ancient scrolls and audio-phonic linguistic interpretations stemming from his interactions with the Hunterbiden Microcock Pygmalion Tribe. Dr. Culvitude was attempting to decode a scroll illustrating a smiling, garment rich man holding the heart of another person standing nearby, when a bitter feisty, belly scourged Pygmy pointed at the picture, clearly anunciating the word "Pirat-ician" with a heavy oriental accent. Dr. Culvitude phoned his partner Dr. Kevin Michael Damone of this revelation wherein it would serve as proof of Culvitudes conjecture on the transcontinental, English modernization and pronunciation of "Politician" which actually evolved from the Latin word "Pirata" combined with "ician", or "Piratician".

"Dr. Damone, the Pygmy chief clearly said the word "Piratician" when trying to tell me about how a once friendly tribe deceived them, took their food reserves, fingered our Matriarchs and returned with an affect of innocence as if nary an expression of remorse."

Punatic 

A hick from the Puna District on the Big Island of Hawai‘i; an area the size of the entire island of O‘ahu. Add in an active volcano, a county government that doesn't give a crap what they do as long as they aren't killing anyone, and mix in a shitload of "love and light" hippies, conspiracy theorists who moved out here during the pandemic or have lived here for 40 years so they claim to be "Hawaiian", random hermits who live out in the lava desert, and sovereignty separatists....

Those guys in front of 7-Eleven? Nah they aren't homeless, they're just Punatics.

Piratica 

A well written book/series by Tanith Lee. There is now Piratica and Piratica II. Read them when you wont be distracted, because otherwise you have no hope of following the storyline. They contain words like thou and thy every now and then, but its easy enough to understand.

Piratica is about a tennage girl named Artemesia, who after a fall, recalls that her mother was once a famous pirate, but was killed when a cannon malfunctioned.
She sets out to find her mothers old crew so she can journey across the high seas and uncover highly sought after treasure before another pirate does.

Set mostly in England...which intrestingly enough is a republic in this book.

A deadbeat person living in Puna (An area in Hawaii) Often living on welfare and stoned into oblivion. Most punatics are unemployed caucasian jungle dwellers with open relationships.
