Okufa

Death. Okufa or Okuffa is a word meaning death in Lusoga. Lusoga is a language spoken by the Basoga - a tribe in the Eastern part of Uganda. The Basoga are mostly found in districts like Jinja, Iganga, Mayuge, Kamuli, Kaliro, Buyende, Bugiri, Namutumba and Bugweri.

Nalwala inho omwaka oguhweile aye nawona Okufa. I was so sick last year but i survived death.
