the not-necessarily-religious

The perfect religion for those who aren't sure if they really believe in a god, but don't want to risk the big red one. Based on being as good as you can be, but not going over the top and showing up the others, the religion of the not-necessarily-religious doesn't believe in rules as such, at least not written ones. Therefore there are no commandments, but believers are asked to be nice to people and to really try and not steal things or kill people, if they can really help it. Attendance at a church is by no means compulsory, or even advised, but a number of popular pilgrimages exist, such as the centre of the civilised world, Home Bargains.
"Hey Josh, wanna come pray to God with me and my good buddies?"
"Nah, I'm one of the not-necessarily-religious."
"Oh. I didn't know you were, uh, 'like that'."
"What the hell does that mean? Son of a bitch!"
"Ah, no! My splean!"

Not necessarily

"Not necessarily" is a figure of speech used to dispute a statement without having to explain why. It's typically used during debates by cowards who are more concerned with their opponent being wrong than they are with themselves being right (and/or) by people who always have to have the last word in any discussion.

Although the statement can be used before making a valid point, sometimes pretentious people will use the phrase by itself. This effectively allows them to appear correct without giving any evidence whatsoever to prove the validity of their point.
Sarah: I think global warming is a farce.
Tom: Are you stupid? Global warming is uber real.
Sarah: Well according to this study, global temperatures have stayed the same for the past 10 years.
Tom: Uhh... hmm... Not necessarily.

Not necessarily

A thing that Krisiic (a.k.a. King Lurka) says all the time.
Krisiic: DRĪKST?! (As he takes all of your fries)
Months name: ATpisies!
Krisiic: Nu hey, es not necessarily paņemu visus. (And makes a sound that seems like a dying seal)

go commit cease vital function necessary for the prolonging of one's physical being

Trump: The longest way to say go commit die is now officially go commit cease vital function necessary for the prolonging of one's physical being

Necessary Evil

Not liking something but understanding that it has to be accepted (sometimes) or it has to exist.
Nimueh says that money creates many problems but he cannot imagine ehat the world would be like without it. This is a necessary evil.

If Necessaried

When one has tickets to an NBA, NHL, or MLB playoffs, but the game they had tickets to becomes cancelled, as one team had already won the series. Only used for Game 5's, Game 6's, or Game 7's, the games that are scheduled as "if necessary," the derivation of the phrase.
Mike: "Hey, how was the Red Sox- Angels game last night?"

John: "The game was if necessaried; the Angels already swept."

Mike: "Ahh, that sucks."
