MeghaFlop

MeghaFlop (noun) A portmanteau of “Meghan” + “flop.” Derogatory slang used (mostly by critics) to describe Meghan Markle or any of her post-royal projects that are widely perceived as commercial or public failures — podcasts that underperformed, lifestyle brands that rebranded or struggled, Netflix deals that drew mixed-to-poor reviews, etc. Implies a pattern of overhyped launches followed by underwhelming results.

Example:
Another day, another MeghaFlop… Meghan Markle’s movie ‘The Cuckolded Quean’ bombed embarrassingly.
Another example:
“Another Meghaflop dropped this week — the new lifestyle line lasted about as long as the last one.”
