Get the Mean-agersmug. A play on the word “teenagers.” Describes kids, usually around 13 and up, who start acting moody, argumentative, standoffish, or sarcastic as they go through their teenage years. They’re not always bad — just in that funny, attitude-filled stage of growing up.
Example:
“Ever since my daughter turned 13, she’s been rolling her eyes at everything I say. She’s officially joined the club of mean-agers.”
