McMotivation

A phrase someone says to someone they pity to try and feel better about themselves, portrayed to intend kindness, but really showing no kind of thought, authenticity, or empathy. Some of the most common are:
“You are beautiful.”
“You are amazing.”
“You have worth.”
“You’re absolutely perfect.”

She had felt bad before, but the boy’s McMotivation had made her feel even more pathetic.
