Lovedaze 

A state that occurs when someone is so in love with their significant other that the rest of the world, including family and friends, becomes dull and unimportant. Symptoms include a dazed, glassy look in the eyes when in the presence of the beloved and a lack of interest in familiar activities and pastimes. In this state, the beloved takes precendence over everyone and everything else, quickly becoming the center of one's life. Old friends and loved ones can expect to be shunned in favor of the new beloved. Usually occurs in the beginning of a relationship when the beloved is fairly new in one's life.

Peter was in such a lovedaze that I didn't even get to see him on his 18th birthday--he decided to spend the whole day with Claire and only Claire instead of bringing her out to celebrate along with all of us who love him.

My brother and I used to be real close, but I never see him anymore; he's in a lovedaze.

I don't know what I think of Emma's new boyfriend; I've never spoken to him, because all they do is whisper and make kissy faces at one another. They're both in such a lovedaze you can't talk to either of them while they're together, and they're always together.

I was in a lovedaze once, but then I started to miss my friends.

Also known as "lover(s) marks," it's a way to proclaim your lover as yours.

This can also be known as: Ways to detect domestic abuse.

A dumb trend.

Masochism marks.

Scratches, bruises, red marks, handprints, hickeys.

These can be inflicted by sucking down on skin, scratching your partner, slapping them, and hitting them.

It's important to express consent & how your partner likes these things.

Johnathan: "Dude, you know you should conceal those before heading to a public gym?"

Rex: "It's just lovemarks."

Lovedrunk 

The feeling you get right after being separated from the person you love, such as through saying goodbye after spending the day or night together, especially when it was particularly romantic throughout, or at the end before leaving. You start to miss them horribly even though you were just together, and you can't think of anything but them, or focus on anything else but the time you spent together. Zoning out, feeling like there's a knot in your chest, being anxious, and generally being really happy and/or sad about both the time spent together and your not being with eachother like you were earlier are common symptoms.

To compare, it's like literal drinking. After sixteen beers (or kissing, snuggling, sex, or otherwise romance in general) you can't simply stop drinking and decide you're no longer drunk, you will still feel the affects of said drinking (or again, in this case, kissing, snuggling, etc.) and must slowly wind down from the earlier events.

"God I miss you so much right now, I wish you could be back here with me.."

"I know, I want you back so badly.. I'm completely lovedrunk right now.."
