Knibbsing

The action of engaging in an affair with someone that is not your spouse, telling them your leaving said spouse and then ghosting the affair.

I got caught up in a knibbsing in my last relationship.

I know he is knibbsing me.

It would be a better world if people weren't knibbsing each other.
