Jatra

In Nepal, Newar (a major race/caste in Kathmandu) people use to celebrate different god's festivals, where they use to pull huge chariots in different places to travel the god through different places. These festivals remain for several days.

In India, the stage shows done by local people called Jatra, which is specially popular in villages.
Indra Jatra, the God of Rain will be carried on the a Rath (Chariot). Similarly, Rato Machhindra Nath, Seto Machhindra Nath, Bisket Jatra are the famous festivals in Nepal.
