idkhbtfm 

A Salt Lake City based band made up of two members, Dallon Weekes, former Panic! at the Disco member, and Ryan Seaman, former member of Falling in Reverse. The two long-time friends got together to from I Don't Know How But They Found Me (often shortened to idkhbtfm, IDKHOW or iDKHOW) in the year 2016, with Dallon as their lead vocalist and bassist and Ryan as their drummer.

The band, which had been kept a secret at first, exploded and Rock Sound described them as "the hottest unsigned band in the world" (pre-signing with Fearless Records). They're songs have been described as many genres, such as new wave, alternative rock, indie pop and more.
Their first song, Modern Day Cain, reached number 8 of the Top 10 Alternative Music Charts on iTunes on the very day it was released. They soon released many more great singles such as Choke and Nobody Likes the Opening Band.
Overall, the band has a very interesting image and backstory. Fans have theorised:

"I think the lore for IDKHOW is that the band was a government experiment during the 80s to how music effects people. That's why most of IDKHOW's music is so weird. Suddenly, the experiment was scrapped and the evidence was trying to be destroyed, but some videos and clips are being discovered now."

"All of their videos are meant to be ‘recovered’ from the 80’s/90’s. I DON’T KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME. I don’t know how but they found the videos? I don’t know."

" I'm going to see a concert tomorrow!"

"Lucky! Who are you gonna be seeing?"

"I'm actually not sure who's concert it is, but I heard idkhbtfm is opening for them..."

IDKBO 

Acronym for “I Don’t Know, Blacked Out” this infamous state of unconsciousness is achieved only via reckless, willful disregard for oneself and those who had previously loved you. Typically induced by shotgunning cheap bourbon as if it contains the antidote, IDKBO is most often associated with disastrous divorce, irreparable family feuds and death spiral endings to once promising careers. Primary benefits include memory loss, unwanted children and plausible deniability when forced to testify in self-defense.

Bruh: “Of course we’re over – you offered to blow the cab driver to pay the fare.”
Ex-gf: “You can’t hold that against me though, you know I was IDKBO.”

Bastard-child: "Dad, how did you and mom meet?"
Soulless, former-man: "Tough to say son. Last thing I recall was mom grinding on the leg of a foosball table - then IDKBO."
