Loki's daughter is Goddess of the Underworld. She is sister to Fenrir and Jormungand. Hel is pictured as being half-white and half-black. She sets in judgement of souls which have not been able to go to Asgard's many halls. If you do not die in battle, chances are you will find yourself in Her realm. Helheim is located at the root of all existance, at the base of Yggdrasil. Jung compares it to the unconscious mind and the collective unconsciousness. Helheim can be quite pleasing or very unpleasent depending on what a soul truly deserves. It is not at all like the Christian Hell for it can be a place of rest.
Hel is not death nor any evil being; she neither kills nor torments. She takes the souls of the departed and holds them with an inexorable grip. She is the hard reality which lies at the end of all things.

A Norse Goddess, if you can call her that. She is one of the children of Loki, and she rules over Nifleheim. Nifleheim, the best way I can say it is the Christian form of hell. Ironically, this is where Catholics/Christians got the name hell from, they took Her name, threw on an l and bingo! It's original.
Hel's body is said to be two halves that shouldn't be together but are. One side of her is incredibly beautiful and any man instantly will fall in lust with her. While the other side of her is dead and rotting, maggots and other foul things infest the dead side of her and all creatures are repulsed by it. Women are merely grossed out at the sight, while men's minds are eventually ripped in two.
She has a habit to have sex with the men she encounters, and then proceeds to torture them to death. She is considered by many to be the ultimate Sadist. The path into nifleheim is paved with human skulls.

Hel
Hel (or "Helga", "El", "Ella") is Loki's daughter. When you meet her everything becomes lighter, and things start to be a little better.
She's a huntress, a fighter and a very loyal friend. She's determined to make things better for everyone and the way she holds herself is too the highest standard. Don't be fooled, she is not one to make an enemy of and she has the best family (AnOki) that you could ever meet because they are so accepting.
She's the reason why I laugh so much and the reason why I'm happy.
If we could write poetry I would change the stanzas to write how her laughter and joy is the reason why we laugh with her, and at the same time, she is the laughter that changes the world better.
She's the best friend I could ever ask for.
Do not make an enemy out of her for she commands the animosity at her will to destroy you.
If I could make a list out of how she's phenomenal, grab a pen and paper and we can write for hours.
She is Flora's/Alexis's best friend, and like a sister, or cousin, we stick through thick and thin.
Her favorite color is black.
She is an enigma, and her humor is the epitome of delight. She has never met an individual that didn't like her back.
