It describes AI Model Collapse (or AI Cannibalism), where a generative model trains on its own low-quality, synthetic data, causing errors, biases, and misinformation to multiply exponentially with each generation.

If we keep letting AI scrape AI text without filtering it, the whole internet is going to suffer from GIEGO.
