Freakan

A Malayalam word that refers to a sub-class of people who grow long hair, long beard, wear funky clothing, abnormal accessories and at times rebel from societal norms. Weed usage and lack of showering is often associated of them, but these traits are not required to be one. Synonymous to the word hippie or hipster.

Basically someone crazy. Kind of a synonym of "freak", but there is no humor in calling someone a freak, so if you want humor, call them a freakasaurus.
Freakasaurus was also mentioned in episode 15, season 2, of Star Trek: Voyager.
