The name given to a Hotel that in fact should be rated a Motel or even less. In any case, a bad hotel...

While on a tour of Europe, I stayed in my share of Feauxtels, only hoping that I would survive the night.

Fauxtelligent

What at first appeared to be intelligent, but later is determined to be just dumb.

Can apply to a person, conversation or an idea.

TM: It totally sucks when you try to have an intelligent conversation with someone you are led to believe is intelligent, but are sadly disappointed when you discover they are not as intelligent as they portrayed.

BA: We call those Fauxtelligent conversations.

The real name for foxtel, the lowest form of 'news' and 'entertainment' available.
'Faux' is French for 'deliberately deceptive' which describes this network of misinformation to a T.

You have the fauxtel version of events, and then you have what really happened. No connections whatsoever.
