Amalgamation of "folksy" and "faux". Used to describe people who falsely pepper their speech with southern-isms, to the point of sounding disingenuous or mocking.
I can never decipher how she feels. Every text has three y'alls, a couple darlin's and some long-winded metaphor about critters and the prairie. It's all so fake, she's fauxsy.
