fanpop

A fun website where fans go just to be fans of TV, movies, music, etc. It's about sharing favorite images, videos, and brief opinions - that's what makes it more fun than websites like DeviantArt or LiveJournal. You don't have to pretend to be an artist or writer to enjoy Fanpop. There are plenty of rabid fans constantly posting content, but it's a lot easier to ignore on Fanpop.

After a mind-numbing day at work, I check out the Sherlock updates on Fanpop for a few minutes.

fanpong

A game involving throwing ping-pong balls in to a ceiling fan. The balls ricochet wildly off the fan and bounce around the room. The game is played with black lights and florescent ping-pong balls (aka beer-pong balls). Ample amounts of alcohol increase the entertainment value of the game, along with throwing the occasional highlighter in the fan.

In addition, the fan should be set to the fastest possible setting. It is advised that people sit or lay down during game play, standing up typically results in being hit in the head and/or testicles.

It was a slow night, so we had people over and played some fanpong.
