Fae/Faer

Fae/faer/faer/faers/faerself is a set of gender-neutral neopronouns. It can be a non-themed pronoun set, or it may have connotations to faeries for a given individual. The set can also be used as a reclamation of the word "fairy" or "faerie", which has a history of being used in a derogatory manner towards queer folk, or by autistic folk in relation to Changelings (a type of fae).

Individual 1: Have you seen Dave?

Individual 2: Yeah, fae is the one screaming on the other side of this door.
Ind 1: Oh... What's making faer scream like that?
Ind 2: I don't know too much about it but I think fae mentioned to someone that faer pronouns are fae/faer, but turns out the person fae told was a TERF.
Ind 1: Oh no-
Ind 2: Yeah and the TERF was saying that Dave's pronouns are culturally appropriating Pagan folk or some shit.
Ind 1: How though?! The word "fae" comes from Old French and fae have been present in so many different cultures all over the world throughout history... It's not from/exclusive to Pagan or Celtic culture at all-

Ind 2: Yeah I know right. Fae's just tired of having to explain faerself to exclusionists who would rather use marginalised groups as an excuse to harass faer than actually listen to said groups or even Google where the fucking word comes from and learn its history... Because they don't care about that, they just wanna bully GNC folk out of using the pronouns that make them feel the most comfortable.

fae/faer pronouns

fae/faer pronouns are neopronouns first invented by a demi-girl for demi-girls to use. fae/faer pronouns are sometimes called offensive, though these pronouns are not intended to be offensive, and if you don't feel comfortable using them for cultural reasons, just ask the person if fae would be okay with you using they/them for faer. Never ask anyone to change their personal pronouns for your benefit.

Fae/faer pronouns decline similarly to she/her pronouns, so whenever you would say "she" instead say "fae". similarly, instead of "her" say "faer". "Fae" is pronounced with a similar vowel sound to "they", but it is most commonly singular ("fae is" not "fae are")

Objective: Fae is my friend/fae's my friend
Subjective: I saw faer yesterday
Possessive adjective: This was faer request
Possessive pronoun: This book is faers
Reflexive: Fae loves faerself

Faeron

Very nice girl and very pretty. She has a great heart but can be aggressive. She is very outgoing and always speaks her mind. She is very moody. You want to get on her good side or bad things will happen to you. Very rebelious but still loves her parents.
