When someone appears to have become shorter.
This can happen when one has a growth spurt and others appear to have shrunk.
This can happen when one who always wears heels suddenly switches to flats.

This can happen when one outgrows friends and they appear to become shorter.
When people switch to shorter heels and appear shorter.
