Dfact - origonates from north east England. Comes from the phrase "Dad Fact". A "Dad Fact" or Dfact is a fact used to make a point or allow someone to appear to intelligently contribute to a conversation which is entirely made up and the source of the information being used is no-less than the users own imagination.

It includes - Made up facts, statistics, lies, exagerations

Person A: "You can't buy a laser pointer for your cat, it's been proven to drive them insane"

Person B: "That is such a dfact!"
