derives from the union of the word cringe and the word nice and indicates everything that is sympathetically embarrassing or not too embarrassing close to the limit from which something is so called disgusting or unbearable but just below it in such a way that it is still acceptable

this tv series is pretty crice, due to some senseless episode but overall it's watchable
