A group of people that favorite one coast over another. Typically associated with the USA.

A series of exams taken by prospective Marine Engineers and Mates looking to earn their U.S. Coast Guard Unlimited Licenses. Normally taken by senior merchant marine cadets attending a Maritime Academy.

I've been studying for coasties for the past 2 months and am still scared as hell for the exam.
