Chromatose
Blend of word 'Comatose' and 'Chrome'. When the colors are so dense in artwork, GUI's or report chart, that you can no longer distinguish there difference between the elements - the thing you're looking at is a confusing colorful mess.
When solving Sudoku and using Basic Coloring, the act of overusing of different colored sets to the point where you become confused which set is which, that state of confusion is Chromatose. A chromosexual is a person who rides a motorcycle and tries to put every piece of chrome available on their bike. Also a person who will spend thousands of dollars on chrome parts for their bike, and little or nothing on maintenance. It is better to look good, than to run good.
