Christmahannukwanzadanus

A way of wishing people who have various beliefs (or no beliefs) to have a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Ramadan, and Happy Festivus.
Tim: Happy Christmahannukwanzadanus, Jim!

(Now Jim is not upset with Tim for not including his beliefs.)

Christmahannukwanzadan

A combination of the main holiday terms; Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanza, and Ramadan.
To be used in this age of correctness where people may be offended by wishing one person a seasonal greeting but leaving another person out, thereby offending their race or creed.
" Happy Christmahannukwanzadan everybody...and I think that covers everybody "

Christmahannukwanzadan

An attempt to combine all religious and cultural holidays of December (Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanzaa and Ramadan) in one seasonal greeting, confusing Ramadan (and Eid al-Fitr) with Eid al-Adha, and therefore failing to realize that Ramadan isn't in, or even close to December.
Dude: Happy Christmahannukwanzadan!
Muslim Dude: ...Thanks. You, too.

Christmahannukwanzadan

A term that, while an attempt to be inclusive of various winter holidays and "festivals of light", also displays ignorance that Ramadan has no connection with the seasons of the solar year. Ramadan (a month of major religious observances within the Islamic lunar calendar) moves backwards through the solar calendar about eleven days every year.

In some years Ramadan gains visibility as it is coincidentally observed near the winter "holiday season", but it actually keeps cycling through the seasons.
In 2010 Ramadan spanned parts of August and September.
In 2011 Ramadan will fall approximately between August 1 and August 29 or 30.
This demonstrates that "Christmahannukwanzadan" illogically groups Ramadan with winter holidays.

Positive:
1. An attempt to recognize that we all inhabit one marble and should just get along despite our shortcomings (i.e., differences in religious faiths).

2. An expression of inclusiveness for all religious faiths regarding holidays.

3. One People, one World - all the same.

Negative:
1. An on overly optimistic term in today's world.

2. Another bad suggestion for purposes of political (or moral) correctness.

3. One who desperately seeks to love and be loved by all.
1. My friend's dad is a black Jew who celebrates Christmas and prays to Allah. Every time he greets someone during the holidays, he says "Happy Christmahannukwanzadan" instead of "As-Shalom-Aleikum-Blessed-Umoja."

2. A dashiki wearing- twirled side-burn styled- bible thumper who wears a taqiya.

Christmahannukwanzadan

The background of UrbanDictionary during the 2010 season, that in its attempt not to, shows some ignorance--the fact that Kwanzaa is not a religious holiday. It was created commercially by Maulana Karenga, an African-American, in 1966, because he felt that secular blacks were left out during holiday celebrations.
Two guys are on urbandictionary on December 2, 2010 and see the background: "happy CHRISTMAHANNUKWANZADAN from urban dictionary"

White guy: We have Christmas, you have Kwanzaa.
Black guy: Not really.... Well actually, kind of, because these days your Christmas isn't even religious, it's only a chance for The Man to make some money off of you guys.
