Mistakenly pronounced "Butt", Butte is a town in, and the county seat of Silver Bow County, Montana, United States. In 1977, the city and county governments consolidated to form the sole entity of Butte-Silver Bow.

Butte

A horrible little town in SouthWestern Montana, also known as Butt, Montucky. Like, literally the worst place imaginable. They have a giant killer swimming pool called the Berkley Pit, where you can have your skin melted off in seconds. If you ever hear someone say they live in Butte and like it, kill them immediately. You will be doing the world a favor.

Guy 1: Hey there man. Where are you from?
Guy 2: *sigh* Butte, Montana.
Guy 1: Oh...I'm so sorry!
Guy2: Yeah me too.
