boganitis

A term used to describe a normally civilized person. These infected with boganitis may find themselves using trends that bogans use. Such examples include:

1. Enhanced swear word vocabulary.
2. Develops a fondness for canned alcohol/beer.
3. Doesn't see the point in shaving anymore.
4. Will wear singlets (typically blue or white) to any occaison.

John told me to "fuckin' hand me another VB, ya lazy fuck!". That's what I heard of it, I couldn't hear him properly through his beard. I think he has boganitis.

Boganify

(Australian) The act of changing a perfectly nice, even attractive item into a trashy bogan style item with a few simple additions such as skulls, stupid stickers, bad flame jobs and or the liberal spraying of Matt Black paint. (Sub section of Ryno's way).

"That Jeep looked really tidy until he boganified it with those huge Skull & Cross bone stickers".

"Yes, its a really sweet bike now but no doubt he will boganify it with some stupid Southern Cross stickers or black paint".

"No Ryno, a Pirate flag would not look good in the lounge room! It would boganify the whole house"!!
