Noun. A new 'state-the-obvious-and-point-out-what's-pointless' phrase to describe the state of a sunburnt person who shares the complection of either a red lobster, red tomato or, alas, a bloody beetroot.

Woman: "Man, you're so sunburnt!"

Man: "I know, I'm pretty beetrooted..."

Woman: "You mean, beach rooted ... HA!"

Man: "I hate the beach."

Beetroot 

A large swollen and quite possibly infected testicle which appears purpley/red in nature. Perhaps caused by the Mrs finding out about "the affair" or due to obscure sexual positions in which the safety of the testicular area may become impaired.
