Badnik

A robot enemy built by Eggman to destroy Sonic. They come in a variety of designs and sizes, but they are all proggrammed to kill sonic. For a robot enemy, to become a badnik, they must at least have an insect-based design or another, and have an battery that powers them, like the critters Eggman steals.

The first sonic badniks were mostly insect-based. While some where mammal-shaped.
