Describing of an inconveniencing or disappointing outcome spoken by a person(s) who has excepted the outcome for what it is rather than being upset

Synonyms: “It do be like that sometimes” or “It is what it is”

(After the office worker ran out of pencils at the worst time and no one has extras) “Well ain’t that just the way.”
