Afterrain

that which follows a rainfall.
I love the smell of afterrain.

The sun came out and I stood amidst the afterrain.

Words you can keep
The slight glimpses of memory and interactions, from a previous nights drunkenness, that are remembered only whilst, or after, recuperating in a foggy, fuzzy, hangover"y" mess.
She was so wasted. Dancing on the bar, kissing 4 dudes and 5 chicks. Wonder what she'll remember afterhand?
Wait, I think I remember now. Was I really trying to hump that police horse? Of course I remember that afterhand.

I love you! And I love you and you and you! Let's see how much I love you guys afterhand.......(burp) I love you and you!

afternines

In north carolina, and probably other states, your afternines is the license you get after having a license with a 5am-9pm driving curfew for 6 months...if you're under 18, you have to have the curfewed license before you can get your afternines...the 6 months prior to getting your afternines feel like the longest 6 months of your life

aftering

When you re-wear a piece of clothing without washing, febreezing, or rubbing deodorant on it when you really should.
I hate to be the one to tell you this but you've been aftering your ex girlfriends scarf for two weeks now. Its getting out of hand dude.

But if I wash it her scent won't be on it anymore.

Don't try and tell me she smells like rotten cup of noodles and burnt hair.

city chicken

A food native to Pittsburgh/Western Pennsylvania in which cubes of pork and/or veal are put on a short, wooden skewer, breaded, then baked and/or fried.

I've heard that city chicken originated during the Great Depression, when folks didn't have enough money to buy full cuts of meat, so they assembled meat scraps on a wooden skewer, creating a make-shift drumstick. Hence the name.

endwarfins

The rush of neurotransmitters and neuropeptides triggered specifically by watching the Seven Dwarfs march home singing "Heigh-Ho" — that particular high of pickaxes, whistling while you work, and communal domestic bliss in a cottage built for men half your height.
I only meant to watch the Heigh-Ho scene for the endwarfins, and then it was two hours later and I'd watched the whole movie.

Endwarfins aren't just a Snow White thing — I get the same hit off the Lollipop Guild in Oz.
