St. Louis Blues

The greatest hockey team ever. It is the home team of Saint Louis. They are much better than the Predators. St. Louis Blues' mascot is Louie the Bear, whom is very amazing. They sport a Blue note on their jerseys.

Jason: Ryan, who is the greatest hockey team ever?

Ryan: Well Jason, that would be the St. Louis Blues!!

bluenoser

A person from Nova Scotia. Contrary to popular belief, the schooner Bluenose was named after the people of Nova Scotia, not vice-versa. The term has been in use since at least the late 18th-century.
...I just got back from a weekend in Halifax. Man, those Bluenosers like to drink!

Joey Blueskies

A derogatory nickname for the Detroit Lions' quarterback, Joey Harrington which came about as fans realized that, no matter how badly he played, Harrington always characterized his performances, and the situation in general, in an extremely positive or "blueskies" manner during his post-game interview.
I can't take it anymore, Broham. The Colts won 41-9 and all Joey Blueskies had to say after the game was, "I made some great throws out there today. We really did some great things on offense. It just got away from us after the first quarter."

Bluebird

an absolutely devastating phanfiction which has the characters of dan howell and phil lester, who are youtubers, about the two of them meeting in a orphanage and having a complicated love once they are adopted together.
examples of people quoting it are:
"So stay gold, Darling."
"Somewhere a bluebird was singing all the songs tomorrow forgot, all the songs tomorrow would bring."
"The Dan with the curly hair was gone, and it felt like Phil missed him so much."
"Our love is cosmic, darling.
"And you know what? I'm doing okay. So stay gold, Darling. I'll see you in Terabithia. Love you, Dan x"

bluewire

To extensively modify an electronic device to perform something it was not originally designed to do, usually using blue wire-wrap wire and external components that were not an original part of the equipment being modified. The result is often overtly ugly and has the appearance of being an afterthought.

The need to bluewire a solution is usually in response to a salesperson providing a marginally-performing, lower-cost item for a specific purpose it was not intended to perform, but marking up the cost to a par with a higher-cost item so that a sales margin could be met.
The transmitter did not work as the customer expeced, so the service technician had to bluewire it so it could do what was needed.
