The four principles: 礼、义、廉、耻
propriety,
righteousness, a sense of honour, and a sense of shame.
The eight virtues: 忠、孝、仁、爱、信、义、和、平
loyalty, filial piety, benevolence, love, faithfulness, justice, peace and harmony.
上善若水 - 老子
The highest goodness is like water. Water benefits all things and does not compete. It stays in the lowly places which others despise. Therefore it is near The Eternal. - Laozi
