They usually have a verified account, think they are hip and cool, and live in an echo chamber.

Noun: A feeling of joy, excitement, and/or anxiety when a celebrity deigns to personally reply to your comment on the celebrity's Twitter.

My girlfriend got a reply from Suze Orman and she was so excited she almost pissed herself. She's so Twitterstruck.

A conversation consisting entirely of 140 character-or-less "tweets", or Twitter updates, on the micro-blogging website, twitter.com. Twittersations rarely contain legitimate Twitter updates and are instead more of a slower form of instant messaging.

Jack: @Jill How was your Holiday?
Jill: @Jack It was great, we had lots of food and drinks! How was yours?
Jack: @Jill Oh you know, the usual! Lots of family friends came over. Wish you were there!
Jill: @Jack Wish I was there too, it sounds like a lot of fun. Did you hear what happened to Janet at the party?
Janet: @Jack @Jill She got pissed off when she got fifty twitter updates on her phone from a stupid twittersation.

Twitterature

Noun- A written work (or body of works) of a particularly humorous, clever, and/or poignant nature, and artfully stated in 140 characters or less

Since he fancied his latest Tweet a work of fine Twitterature, he also posted his cleverly stated musings on the topic of pajama pants as a status update on all of his social networking profiles.

It could be argued that Jack Handey was one of the original, great authors of modern Twitterature despite producing the majority of his work before the digital age and the advent of social media such as Twitter and Facebook.
