Twitterature

Noun- A written work (or body of works) of a particularly humorous, clever, and/or poignant nature, and artfully stated in 140 characters or less
Since he fancied his latest Tweet a work of fine Twitterature, he also posted his cleverly stated musings on the topic of pajama pants as a status update on all of his social networking profiles.

It could be argued that Jack Handey was one of the original, great authors of modern Twitterature despite producing the majority of his work before the digital age and the advent of social media such as Twitter and Facebook.
