Abbreviation of transmasculine.
A person who was assigned female at birth, but who identifies with masculinity more than with femininity. This can among others include trans men, non-binary people and genderfluid people. The term is especially used by people who aren't sure yet in which of these categories they fall.
The opposite is transfeminine or transfem.
I've felt transmasc for a long time, but lately I've been wondering if I'm a trans guy. Could you start using he/him instead of they/them? I want to know how that would make me feel.
In this video, I will give some tips for transmasc people on how to make their voice sound more masculine.
The way that driving has always been done. In order to drive in manual, you control a clutch and a gearshift in addition to gas and brakes. Manual transmissions give you much more information about your car such as its feel, its power, its engine to gear ratios, etc.
Newcomers to manual transmissions often stall out and get frustrated by the addition of extra controls. But if you practice at it a lot, it becomes delightfully challenging, you will feel out of place in an automatic by comparison, and the feeling you get when you drive circles (or donuts) around your friends is totally worth it.
I've been driving in manual transmission for so long, automatic just didn't feel the same. My hand kept reaching for a stick that wasn't there, and I almost hit the emergency brake thinking it was the clutch. I hope automakers keep offering stick-shift models!
similar to a transman but not identifying explicitly as male and male only. Often a genderqueer person who is transitioning to be more masculine but not necessarily ftm. Can also be simply an umbrella term for any person transitioning to be more masculine (with binders, testosterone, packing, or other common forms of transitioning to a more masculine character)
"Are you female to maletransgender?"
"Kind of, but I'm genderqueer so I just identify as transmasculine"
Incubustrack that sends fans floating freely into a land of rivers, kung fu and unicorns by the use of a pipa. The band borrowed the pipa from Steve Vai to create the atmospheric song.
Lyrics: I'm floating down a river Oars freed from their holes long ago
Lying face up on the floor of my vessel
I marvel at the stars
And feel my heart overflow
Further down the river Further down the river Further down the river Further down the river Two weeks without my lover
I'm in this boat alone
Floating down a river named emotion
Will I make it back to shore
Or drift into the unknown
Further down the river
Further down the river
Further down the river
Further down the river
I'm building an antenna
Transmissions will be sent when I am through
Maybe we'll meet again further down the river
And share what we both discovered...
Then revel in the view
Further down the river
Further down the river
Further down the river
Further down the river
