Targeting

Singling a designated "targeted individual" out for continuous group stalking, harassment, taunting, and bullying. Making some type of contact with the target every single time they leave their home, even if it just to take out the trash or pick up the mail. Targeting is overt and involves sensitization to repeated stimuli to let the target know they are being watched. Making the target's life as difficult as possible everywhere they go for the purposes of alienation, humiliation, isolation, and degradation.
All the neighbors are targeting her by practicing same time entry/exit from their homes whenever she arrives/departs. They will frequently block her path on foot and by vehicle everywhere she goes in the neighborhood, making loud noises and instigating arguments.

Definition Targeting

When someone targets one of your definitions and keeps giving you thumbs down everyday just to be a prick.
Dude someone is definition targeting one of my entries! Fuck! I went through all this trouble to get it approved by those fucking urbandictionary editors and now some asshole is giving me bad ratings.

Targeting

When you're playing a game, but hold a grudge against someone else playing for no apparent reason, but you still make sure they lose the game because 'whatever'.
- Playing It -

(Person being targeted): "HEY! Why do you only chase me when there are other people behind you who you can tag?"
(Person targeting): "Uh, I don't know."
(Person being targeted): Oh, of course not, you nance. You're targeting me!

Set Targeting

When some random person, possibly from the Urban Dictionary editor's room itself, targets certain authors and thumbs down all of his/her definitions when there is nothing wrong with them. Usually these kind of people have no lives and just thumbs down people’s hard work every 6 hours or so. I myself am a victim of Set Targeting. I’ve created more than one pseudonym and many of them have been targeted. The only logical solution that comes to mind is that somebody within the editor’s room notices familiar pseudonyms and thus targets them every day for his own personal amusement.
The best way to prevent set targeting is to simply space your definitions out under many different names and do not group them all under one pseudonym. If you only make one word per every pseudonym instead of grouping several words together into a set, then it makes the definitions less vulnerable for targeting.

Visual Targeting

VisualTargeting® is the business, art and science of adjusting visual images, designs, advertisements, products, gifts, presentations, etc. to accurately fulfill the desires of their intended audiences. This is usually done for the purpose of increasing in the audience's mind, positive emotions, favorable opinions, and the feeling of desire in relationship to what they are presented with. VisualTargeting® is used by every person and every business knowingly or not.

The art of VisualTargeting® is concerned with individual people's (and market's) current visual tastes, and appealing to them in the most pleasing manner. On the other end of the spectrum, VisualTargeting® can accurately predict which markets and types of people around the world, would respond to specific pieces of art, product designs, logos, or advertisements most positively, and thus, would purchase them most readily.

The science of VisualTargeting® measures the success of any design effort, fundamentally, by the practical results it brings forth: Whether it be an increase in advertising effectiveness, design concepts being chosen by the clients that are intended to like them, audiences responding to movie character roles the way the movie producers, writers and directors hoped they would, or a nation choosing the political candidate that can most effectively communicate irresistable value to voters.
Visual Targeting Is The New Industry Standard In Design, Trusted By Fortune 500s, Businesses, Bestsellers, Celebrities in 182 countries. According to Forbes Magazine VisualTargeting® is "The most powerful advancement in the design, marketing, and advertising industries that this century will see."

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
