tankchud

A tankchud (optionally tank-chud) is someone who displays some of the attributes of being a chud, along with an unreasonable amount of knowledge on tanks and other military vehicles and tools. A tankchud can name most tank models just by looking at one for a few seconds, and knows exactly which wars it was used in. The tankchud usually also shows extreme signs of being terminally online, along with a bunch of humor relating to nazi Germany. Their hours on Hearts of Iron and War Thunder should never be underestimated.

one over tanch (1/tanh)

slightly obscure this one, but was nevertheless widely used for a while in central london. it means to chill, relax, often along with smoking weed. derived directly from cotch, its root is interesting... the mathematicians amongst you will know that hyp(cos) is written 'cosh', and pronounced 'cotch'. this is trigonometrically equivalent to one over hyp(tan), or '1/tanh', pronounced 'tanch'. most people are unaware of this - its nevertheless used widely.
