There are a number of sorted rumours surround this mythical creature, one Summerpam believer claims that Summerpam died on the streets of Port Dalhousie one May 24 weekend and ever since then the ghost of Summerpam haunts party people by dancing on bar tops and encouraging insane partying on work/ school night’s.

But for June, July and August, everyone comes out of hibernation to go crazy at Chicago's many beaches, bar crawls on land (and by rooftop), music, art and food festivals nearly every single day, and the hormone-infused nightlife the spans from the house parties on the South side, to the lounges of the South Loop, to clubs of River North, and the collective shitstorm of bars running from Wrigleyville through Lincoln Park.
