subhonk

A honk (message posted on the website WrongThonk) that mentions a WrongThink member without using their actual username. Usually employed for negative or insulting honks; the person you're mentioning won't see the subhonk in their WrongThink timeline as it doesn't contain the @ symbol that every WrongThink username has.

subhonk: "some people need to stop being so fake."

person it's about: "say it to my face lisa!"

subhonking

Indirectly honking something about someone without mentioning their name. Even though their name is not mentioned, it is clear who the person honking is referring to.

User1 - honks indirects about User's 2 own problems as a cry for help

User2 - @User1 stop subhonking me pls.
