Slaxl
1. A unique formula that existed from 1985-1995 composed of equal parts Slash and Axl Rose. Famous for such cultural phenonmenons as "Welcome to the Jungle," "Sweet Child O' Mine" & "November Rain," etc. Damn sexy to both men and women alike.
2. The proverbial whole-is-greater-than-the-sum-of-the-parts. Slaxl transcends time and space and takes the listener/viewer to a place where Rock 'n' Roll truly stands for sex, drugs, violence, beauty, ugliness, brazen misogyny and even occasional sensitivity.
3. Any photograph of said pairing. Usually Slash and Axl are hugging, touching, leaning on each other, etc.
4. Awesomeness

Solax
To rest and relax in an outdoor environment, typically in a Mediterranean climate. The term first appeared on the sunny shores of San Diego, California in the 1980s, and was commonly used by surfers in the area. Today, the term has been adopted by people from all walks of life. It has outgrown its California roots, and is often used in many regions of the United States.

A sunburn or suntan focused on the left arm. It is caused by the left side of the body being the only half that gets exposed to sunlight while driving. Presumably, it would be located on the right side of the body in countries where they drive on the left side of the road.

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
