The sound made when you get the last pump (of coffee) from the press pot, when the last of liquid is pumped out and it starts to pull air with it.

Tiffany was getting her morning coffee when I heard the telltale shplort when the press pot emptied. She tried to be quiet about it but there’s no escaping that sound. I called her on it to be a good coffee steward and she had to make a new pot before leaving.
