"Scriptures" or "Scripture"(both can be used as plural depending on context) is a term which means an money(of an indefinite amount). A "bible"(a stack of money) is made up of scriptures.
Ex 1: "On my momma niggas gone die if I don't have my scriptures by Monday."
Ex 2: "I'll divide this bible into separate scriptures."
Someone who will beat you over the head with whatever text they hold most sacred—be that the Bible, the Communist Manifesto, "Atheism: The Case Against God," or "Stranger in a Strange Land"—until you agree with them on all points.

(n) A person who quotes scriptures to show off their knowledge and ability to memorize. They usually scripture spit when somebody is feeling down instead of actually listening to the person. It is usually done in a very judgmental and flippant manner.
