It is what happens to formerly popular and successful college football coaches after particularly embarrassing or multiple losses to coach Nick Saban and and his team, the Crimson Tide of the University of Alabama. The term applies whether the affected coach is fired in shame, or is allowed to step down and maintain a degree of dignity.

Saban is so amazing. His eyes are beautiful. When I look into them, I get happy. His smile pierces through all of my sadness and I feel whole again. I love the way he talks. He gets so interested in the conversation, and everything seems to excite him. He's super beautiful. I love everything he does. Saban is so fascinating. He's making me better each and every day. I'm so happy I met him. I just hope he doesn't leave me.

Overrated football coach. Paid $4 million per year by Univ. of Alabama (a backwoods third rate intellectual backwater/vocational school whose rabid fans pathetically live their tragic lives vicariously though an inept has been football team).
Lies out his ass, wouldn't know integrity or honesty if it slapped him in his head. Has a mean bouffant which he adores and spends inordinate amounts of time tending. Is from some holler in West Virginia originally.
