A misspelling of "public school" whose existence and usage is a discouraging sign of the dismal state of mainstream publicly-funded education in North America.
Unlike England and Wales, where "public school" infers some sort of posh, stuffy fee-paying academy in the tradition of Hogwart's, the rest of the world uses "public school" to be a local, mainstream, taxpayer-funded class setting of widely-variable quality of instruction.
Nonetheless, it's disheartening to see standards slip to the point where the schools publish statements like (from the code of conduct of Lakeside Public School, Durham Region, Ontario) "Lakeside Pubic School committed to maintaining a positive school environment. All students are expected to uphold the values and expectations of our school’s code of conduct." or (from the Thames Valley District School Board) "Orchard Park Pubic School Updates - Kindergarten Registration for 2025-2026 - To be eligible for registration, kindergarten students must be 4 years old by December 31, 2025 (born in 2021)..."
IF this is what our schools are teaching? We're doomed. Doomed.

Get the pubic school mug.U.S. public schools are shitty prisons where kids learn to hate math, english, history, science, and physical ed. that's why we have a problem with having too many uneducated, illiterate, and obese people in america. everyone who doesn't have an extra $30,000 to spend sending their kids to private schools are forced to make them go to public school. teachers can't be fired after working at the school for 2 years, so you get lots of shitty old teachers that don't care about their students because they know they can't lose their job. the school's main focus is preparing students for the standardized tests, which have such low expectations it's unbelievable.

A place where teachers are tired and don’t give a shit about the students so they try to hide it by giving you a bad grade, calling you out, or making you do stupid activities and projects and presenting them. A place where standardized tests is the only thing that will make you go to the next grade level. A place where kids and teenagers are too afraid to stand up for themselves and what’s right because of pure pressure, anxiety, or being judged harshly by others. A place where being anti social and not participating makes you a “target". A place where bullying and doing drugs isn’t so bad but school shootings, fights, and kids murdering other kids is “BAD"; and they wonder why those things happen in the first place. Hears the deal, if your parents can’t afford to take you too a good private school or they just don’t give a fuck, don’t go too an actual school at all. There are plenty of opportunities to do homeschooling or attending an online schooling system, and trust me, dropping out isn’t the best option for some people. Don’t even think about going to college either, because it’s the same fucking way, except you actually have a choice.

It is a school system that take in billions of dollars annually, pays no income taxes, and always needs more money. Public school education easily has the biggest bullshit story in the world. With that said most kids would agree that the American public school education system is completely incompetent and just doesn't even give a fuck. They don't give a fuck about kids. If everyone knew that than the American public school education system would be out on the loving, caring ass a long time ago.
This is why a homemaker cannot hold a candle to a high school principal. When it comes to believing in anything public school education says I tried. I really did try. I really did try to believe that public school education was the best education system in the world, I found out that public school education is nothing more that total bullshit. This is why I have a hostile view towards the American public school education system.

The government forces each student to get up at 6:00 in the morning to get ready to go to school at 7:45 in the morning and are there until 3:30. The government tries to tell us that we "learn" things we'll need in the future, yet we actually need much of it. Most kids like me actually enjoy learning a ton. Let's take speed of sound for example. I enjoy learning about the sound barrier and what happens when it's broke, but I just hate the fact I'm forced to memorize the speed of sound and other crappy stuff. What's worse is that you get tested on it, and if you fail, that's too bad, it defeats the purpose. If kids were to be left on their devices to learn themselves, I bet you they won't ever want to come back home after school. Also if freaking Physical Education was taken out too. It's the reason why bullying rates are so high as little 6th graders who aren't strong but extremely intelligent are being bullied by jock head 8th grade football players who already lost their virginity to some cheerleaders. It would also decrease the suicide rates in teens.
Public school is dumb, nothing makes sense. Students don't learn, they just memorize facts and get bullied by jocks.
