When we studied social media posts in psychology class, we focused on the postology of a Facebook post about what someone ate for dinner last night.

Postcon Blues

The depressed feeling you get after going to a convention and seeing friends. The afflicted usually desperately text or call everyone they know from the convention, spend ridiculous amounts of time on facebook and forums where they find their friends from the convention, and go over every memory hundreds of times.

Man, now that PortCon is over I have some major postcon blues.

I'm dreading the postcon blues feeling I'll have next week.

Poston Junior High

If you thought tanacon was a shitshow then you obviously haven’t been to Poston Junior High. This school has drugs underage drinking AND mormons. The students here have a great faculty! The feeling you get when you haven't had access to the internet (i.e. facebook and twitter) for a long time, like several minutes.

(A family is on vacation)
Mom: Johnny, come to dinner!
Johnny: Fucking not hungry!
Mom (to dad): What the hell is wrong with him?
Dad: He's got postmodem depression; he can't update his facebook status.
Mom: But we have only been here for 15 minutes.
