Pop Down / Bahamian slang / phrase / 1 : to suddenly or quickly fall low in / lose all, of one's finances 2: to become depressed(in emotion) from the sudden lack of spendable cash. 3 : BROKE 4 : Destitute 5 : to look old and worn 6 : no longer of usable value - useless. 7 : of low value : CHEAP
1 : He used to drive a Benz but, that law suit has him (pop down), now he can't afford to ride even the city bus!
2 : Jim is sulking because that poker game has him (pop down).
3 : Jim had to borrow a few dollars from the petty cash because he's (pop down) again.
4 : If you live, in a ghetto, slum, or trailer park or make less than twenty thousand dollars per year you're, more than likely, (pop down).
5 : That tattered shirt and faded jeans makes you look (pop down).

The room of a trailer where a child over 30 years old lives; because they refuse to move out from their parent’s trailer.
John: Hey Craig have you ever seen Steve’s place?
Craig: No, but I heard he lives with his mom in a trailer park?
John: Yeah, he does, its good thing she has a pop down trailer basement for him to live in.
